Guess What We’ve Been Up To?

Recently, I journeyed to the Las Vegas Institute with a few of our team members for the IAPA Conference. What does this have to do with our patients? It speaks to our continued commitment to provide you with scientifically-sound and up-to-date dental care that will allow you to have the smile and health that you deserve. But what could possibly be so important that it takes us away from the practice? Just wait and see.

The International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics is an organization that provides higher education for dentists and their team members. That may sound like something straight out of a Star Trek episode, but it’s actually something that we are passionate about. At this conference, we attended lectures, panel discussions, and workshops concerning physiologic dentistry. These allowed us to learn more about treating TMJ disorder, the role that orthodontics play in facial development, as well as sleep dentistry. We returned from the IAPA conference enlightened, invigorated, and eager to share our newfound knowledge with YOU!

As I’ve mentioned time and again, dentistry is about far more than cleaning your teeth; it’s an integral part of helping you attain overall health. TMD, the position of your bite, and sleep apnea are all conditions that can contribute to poor health and discomfort; they are also all conditions that can be treated by a qualified dentist who is well-versed and experienced in the science of physiologic dentistry.

My promise to you is that, as your dentist, I will continue to learn and practice everything possible to make your dental experiences comfortable, effective, and positive. At Dentistry by Angela Britt, our patients are now, and will always be, our first priority.

Best,

Dr. Britt
