Dentistry by Angela Britt is such a well-respected practice because of one person: Dr. Britt, herself. Dr. Britt started her practice in October of 1997 and, since then, has become known for her commitment to putting patients first.
Dr. Britt decided to become a dentist because she wanted a career that would allow her to get to know people while simultaneously helping them. When asked what her favorite thing about dentistry was, Dr. Britt replied, “I’m in the life changing business and I get to meet and help a lot of wonderful people. I am so grateful when patients tell me how I have helped change their lives in a positive way by giving them the smile they have always wanted.” Dr. Britt particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and helping patients who suffer from TMJ disorders find relief from their pain.
When Dr. Britt isn’t helping her patients have beautiful smiles, you might find her binging on forensics shows on Investigation Discovery (which has only furthered her interest in forensic dentistry), reading, gardening, spending time with her family and her four-legged pup, Wiley, and traveling. “I recently took a trip to Switzerland, Germany, and France and it was an awesome trip,” she said. “My next trip will be to Alaska and also on my list are New Zealand and Australia.”
Dr. Britt has these words of advice for patients: “The health of your mouth affects your overall health. The oral cavity is the gateway to the body; keeping healthy teeth and gums will help to improve your quality of life as you age.” She also likes to remind patients that a smile is the best thing they can wear!
